Responsibilities
Provides quality control of internal and external documents, reviews documents for accuracy and adherence with World Bank guidelines and procedures. Assists in drafting, editing, formatting, and production of documents and correspondence. Coordinates schedules, monitors changes, and communicates information to staff inside and outside the immediate work unit, including officials outside the bank. Solves non-routine problems and responds to requests requiring research to address the query at hand. Provides assistance at various levels in organizing meetings, conference calls, video conferences, workshops, conferences; handles administrative and logistical arrangements, prepares and assembles meeting materials, sends invitations, and follows up. Builds a database of participants and drafts event reports. Coordinates travel requests for consultants if necessary and assists with coordination of mission agendas as needed. Maintains current distribution lists and phone / addresses lists of project / product contacts and distributes documents for relevant task teams. Maintains up-to-date work unit project and other files (paper and electronic). Manages logistics requests for visiting missions and handles bookings for business travels, including arranging visas. Collaborates with other team members and contributes productively to the team’s work, fully involving others in the work of the team. Generates reports as needed and assists with administrative and operational matters in the department; acts as back-up for colleagues when needed. Selection Criteria
Education / Experience Minimum education : Bachelor’s degree Minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience Required Competencies Technology and systems knowledge
– Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.). Project and task management
