In this HR Manager position
Responsibilities
- Lead the function or multiple sub-functions on a country level
- Establish and implement strategies with long-term impact (5+ years) on business results in alignment with global objectives and directly impacting the organization’s business strategy
- Provide input into divisional HR strategy and initiatives aligned to the business strategy and goals, considering opportunities, challenges, risks, market trends, and economic / political climate
- Set functional priorities for the country and align activities to support business goals and influence strategic direction while balancing the employee perspective
- Ensure alignment of country HR function with regional / divisional HR strategy and plans
- Drive transformation and change of HR function to maximize capability and ensure HR services drive business performance
- Build, organize and develop the HR function’s team and processes to deliver on objectives in key areas : Sourcing, C&B, Talent Management, Learning & Development, HR Administration support and change management
- Act as a trusted advisor to the business and partner with senior management
- Monitor deployment of HR strategic plans and achievement of sub-functional goals to enhance efficiencies and effectiveness
- Identify and resolve risks to deploy HR strategy successfully
- Negotiate critical agreements / contracts with other departments and third parties
- Develop strong relationships with senior business leaders across DHL and partner organizations
- Influence others across DHL and externally as a recognized thought leader representing the Group
- Champion cooperation and partnership to provide integrated solutions to problems
- Lead multiple teams of executives, directors / senior managers, and managers
- Ensure appropriate talent selection, organization and leadership for major areas of the organization
