HB Senior Placement Manager

Description This position is at a placement / broking level. Works alongside the client relationship and business development team in the placement of Health and Benefits insurance programs. Takes ownership of the renewal cycle for all placement activities pertaining to their assigned accounts ensuring the timely production of quotations coverage specifications prepares submissions presents submissions and negotiates with insurers to secure the best possible terms and coverage that meets the clients needs. Advises Account Managers and business development teams on which carrier to select and prepares and presents client proposals. Binds cover and quotes. Prepares periodic performance reports based on the analysis of client claims data and advises Account Managers on problematic areas of policy performance and cost‑saving opportunities within the overall goal of improving the health of the clients policy and the attractiveness of the clients risk to insurers.

The Role

Provides coverage and program design advice and expertise to client relationship managers and business development team.

Attends client meetings with the client relationship manager and or business development team on all renewals.

Communication with client relationship and business development team regarding program program improvements overall insurance policy performance and highlighting problematic areas costsaving opportunities benchmarking of clients benefits and options on coverage changes.

Analyses claims data and creates claims utilization reports

Identify appropriate markets and work within Head of Placements placement strategy.

Negotiates with carriers on prices and coverages.

Works towards a multiyear plan of improving the health of clients insurance policies and making their risks more attractive to the market

Provides updates on market regulatory changes and coverage enhancements (CHI)

Assists as technical resource for less experienced placement team members.

Complies with WTW guidelines and procedures; adherence to the Excellence Framework.

Manage KPIs and SLAs

Works with Placement Leader on carrier management framework and owns several key carrier relationships.

Works with the placement leader to support the placement managers

Relationship Management

Liaise with clients in coordination with Client Account Managers and build strong relationships.

Build and maintain strong relationships with insurers on multiple levels and channels.

Understand clients business and risk appetite and look for solutions to deliver those needs through the provision of ongoing servicing.

Draw on expertise from within H&B team as and when required.

Maintain consistent / high quality touch points by phone and facetoface with clients in coordination with Client Account Managers.

Participate in stewardship meetings (Renewals).

Support Client Management team in identifying and closing rounding opportunities.

Work to annualised service plans that define engagement and timing of engagement with the client.

Proactively work with operations and IT to ensure smooth delivery of daytoday servicing

Duties

Works with internal and external sources to identify opportunities to work collaboratively

Supports the development of further business opportunities through service opportunitiesIncreases the standing of Willis Towers Watson as a service organisation in the eyes of internal and external clients.

Qualifications The Requirements

University Diploma or Bachelors Degree level education

Working towards CII qualifications.

IFCE certified.

Relevant Health & Benefits experience and expertise.

Proven track record of delivering high levels of client service.

Skilled at building effective relationships at all levels with clients prospects and insurers.

Fluent in English and Arabic verbal and written

IT : Median knowledge of standard Microsoft packages is essential.

Strong communication negotiation and influencing skills.

Ability to represent WTW with integrity and credibility

Experienced knowledge of insurance markets to deal effectively with client and WTW needs.
