Business Development Manager – Middle East (Port Terminals)

We’re looking for a driven Business Development Manager to spearhead growth in the Middle East container terminal industry. Based in one of the Gulf countries, you’ll shape Hove’s presence in the region by building strategy, developing partnerships, and opening doors to new opportunities. This role combines strategic sales with hands-on collaboration, including on-site demonstrations, training, and co-creating value with customers. Focus area : technical sales in the Port Terminal segment, with emphasis on digital and IoT solutions.

You’ll work closely with Hove’s Commercial Team and report directly to the Head of BU Cranes, ensuring customer needs, technical expertise, and business growth align seamlessly.

What You Bring

• Based in Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar or UAE
• 5–10 years of experience in business development, technical sales, or a related role
• A strong network within the Container Terminals sector
• Proven track record in selling digital / IoT solutions to port terminals or heavy industry
• A blend of strategic mindset and hands-on approach —comfortable presenting to executives, but also rolling up your sleeves on-site
• Ability to train, engage, and build trust with customer teams
• Excellent communication in English (Arabic is a plus)
• Willingness to travel extensively across the region and beyond
