We are looking for a
Senior Sales Manager
to drive commercial success. This is a high-impact role responsible for sales strategy, key account development, floor plan optimisation, and revenue growth.
What You’ll Be Doing
Lead sales for your assigned events, managing both existing clients and new business development across stand sales and sponsorships.
Develop and execute sales plans aligned with event positioning, in collaboration with marketing and the Show Director.
Oversee floor plan management, including pavilion placement and revenue forecasting.
Maintain strong relationships with key accounts to drive exhibitor retention, upsell opportunities, and rebooking.
Research market trends and competitor activity to identify growth areas and enhance show value.
Engage directly with trade associations, media, and government partners to build industry credibility and strategic partnerships.
Manage and motivate international sales partners to maximise outreach and bookings.
Attend competitive industry events locally and internationally for intelligence gathering and lead generation.
Collaborate with internal departments – operations, marketing, finance, and CRM – to deliver seamless pre-show and onsite execution.
What You’ll Bring
Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, within the exhibitions industry.
Proven ability to hit revenue targets, manage pipelines, and close high-value deals.
Strong relationship management skills and a consultative sales approach.
Commercial mindset with the ability to analyze data, forecast accurately, and adapt strategies.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Event Management, or a related field.
