A well-established and fast-growing organization is seeking a Senior Sales Manager to lead and scale a high-performing, field-based sales force across key markets. This senior leadership role is responsible for setting the sales vision, overseeing regional teams, driving client acquisition, and ensuring revenue growth through effective field execution. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with deep experience in sales management, team leadership, and on-ground market engagement.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a national field sales team, including Regional Sales Managers, Supervisors, and Sales Consultants.
- Establish performance standards, set clear sales objectives, and drive a results-oriented culture.
- Regularly review individual and team performance, providing coaching and development support.
Sales Strategy & Execution
Develop and implement a comprehensive field sales strategy aligned with organizational goals.Set and monitor monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets across all territories.Drive growth through structured territory planning, market segmentation, and client acquisition strategies.Field Operations Oversight
Ensure strong on-ground execution by supporting client meetings, site visits, and field audits.Oversee territory coverage plans and ensure optimal distribution of sales resources.Implement performance tracking systems to monitor team activities, visit outcomes, and lead conversion.Recruitment, Training & Capability Building
Lead recruitment and onboarding of regional sales leaders and field staff.Design training programs focused on field sales techniques, relationship management, and market knowledge.Build internal leadership capacity through mentorship and structured development plans.Reporting & Performance Analysis
Track key sales metrics and provide regular performance reports to senior management.Use data insights to identify underperforming areas and recommend corrective actions.Ensure all field data is collected, validated, and integrated into broader business planning.Client Relationship Management
Support the team in building and nurturing high-value client relationships.Personally engage with key accounts, particularly during high-stakes negotiations.Act as an escalation point for resolving critical client issues on the ground.Territory Growth & Market Expansion
Identify opportunities for geographic expansion and lead entry into new regions.Analyze field data, competitor activity, and local trends to guide market development.Ensure sustained growth in both mature and emerging areas.Requirements
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing , or a related field.Additional certifications in leadership or strategic sales are a plus.Valid KSA driving license required.Experience
Minimum of 10 years of experience in field sales , with at least 5 years in a senior management role .Demonstrated success in leading large, decentralized sales teams .Deep familiarity with the Saudi Arabian market is essential.Sales & Market Knowledge
Strong knowledge of territory planning, field sales processes , and client lifecycle management .Skilled in pipeline development, revenue forecasting , and account growth strategies .Proficient in using CRM tools and analyzing performance dashboards.Core Skills
