Role Purpose : As a VP - Business Development , you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive business development strategy, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, and expanding our market reach.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & ACTIVITIES
Major Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy aligned with the company’s overall objectives.
- Responsible for closing business deals to meet monthly, quarterly, and yearly revenue targets.
- Manage the complete business development cycle until the collection of revenue.
- Build and grow client relationships in government, semi-government, multinational, listed, and unlisted companies.
- Identify and analyze market trends, competitor activity, and emerging client needs, and incorporate those inputs into the implementation of business growth strategy.
- Implement and utilize key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and measure business development success across all channels.
- Provide regular reports and updates to the leadership team on business development activities and outcomes.
- Spearhead a team of business development professionals, fostering a culture of mentorship and professional growth.
- Represent the company at industry conferences, seminars, and networking events as the face of the company.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business Administration from a recognized university (Master’s degree preferred).Proven track record of success in achieving revenue targets.Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building, presentation, and negotiation skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Strategic thinking and decision-making capabilities.Preferably a Western candidate or Bilingual.Previous GCC experience is a big plus but not mandatory.Benefits
