Main Purpose of Job
Lead construction engineer. Should lead with example Senior Engineers, Site Engineers and Junior Engineers along with direct manpower and to insure proper communication and sharing the works plans between all his team, also to insure the proper coordination with other teams to avoid any constrain may affect the work plan.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Understanding Mechanical construction scope and objectives, involving all of his team and ensuring technical feasibility, Determine the different phases of a project and their different scheduling based on baseline already established and shared by the construction manager.
- Preparing method of statement required to implement the construction activities.
- Reviewing risk assessment to be in accordance with method of statement requirements.
- Manage the relationship between his team and the client and all stakeholders.
- Manage the dealing with Mechanical Sub-contractors and any other necessary person(s).
- Making sure of the availability of the equipment and materials which required for construction activities.
- Issuing a detailed constructability plans based on the site conditions to support project base line schedule.
- Ensure that issues that may arise in the course of executing plan, including weather condition or other emergencies, that may pose a delay in the project completion, are resolved.
- Ensure resource availability and allocating and sourcing materials, equipment and manpower for carrying out assigned Mechanical construction work ensuring its productivity and compliance.
- Adopt and implement all company processes / procedures involved in construction.
- Managing a groups of working teams; allocates tasks to relevant personnel and to request to recruit a team when the need arises.
- Report and escalate to Construction Management as needed.
- Measuring his Construction team performance using available tools and techniques.
Required Qualification
Bachelors of Mechanical Engineering degree in relevant discipline.Data Analysis.Report writing and business and technical correspondence.Team leadership.Conflict and grievance resolution.Overall Experience 8 : 12 years#J-18808-Ljbffr
