To lead, coordinate, and deliver insulation-related projects efficiently and safely, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards. The Project Lead will be responsible for managing site teams, subcontractors, and materials while maintaining client satisfaction and compliance with safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Project Execution : Oversee all insulation activities, including hot, cold, cryogenic, acoustic, and fireproofing applications.
- Ensure that all project phases (mobilization, execution, completion) are carried out effectively and in line with client and company standards.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and HSE teams to align work scope and scheduling.
- Team Leadership : Supervise insulation crews and subcontractors; assign daily tasks and monitor progress.
- Conduct toolbox talks, daily briefings, and quality inspections.
- Train and mentor team members on insulation techniques and safety practices.
- Planning & Coordination : Develop work schedules, manpower plans, and material requirement forecasts.
- Monitor project milestones and report any delays or changes to the Project Manager.
- Coordinate site logistics and equipment needed for insulation works.
- Documentation & Reporting : Maintain project documentation, including daily progress reports, inspection reports, and material consumption logs.
- Ensure compliance with specifications, drawings, and client requirements.
- Participate in client meetings, progress reviews, and audits.
- Quality & Safety : Enforce quality assurance and safety protocols across all insulation works.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement preventive measures.
- Report and investigate incidents or near misses on site.
Qualifications & Experience
Diploma or Bachelor\'s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (preferred).5+ years of experience in insulation project execution, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.Strong knowledge of insulation materials, systems, and installation methods (mineral wool, cellular glass, PIR, etc.).Familiar with industry standardsProficient in reading technical drawings, isometrics, and specifications.Good understanding of HSE procedures and site compliance requirements.Skills & Competencies
