NGHC Maintenance Engineer – Wind

الوصف الوظيفيPrepare the maintenance requirements (preventive, corrective, condition-based and predictive) and maintenance plans over the design life of windfarm in accordance with O&M Manual, OEM Recommendations and good practices. Assist Construction & QC with inspection and punch lists of installation and vendor packages. Review mechanical completion for systems and sub-systems packages. Organise and document pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures and participate in system performance testing. Review and ensure that the TurnOver Packages / Final Documentation is complete from maintenance perspective. Develop the plant maintenance procedures and work instructions based on OEM manuals, standard industry practice. Identify & develop the operational and strategic spares for the smooth and reliable operation of the plant. Develop the technical scope of work for contractors or services providers. Assign jobs to the maintenance staff and maintain reporting system which provides sufficient data to ensure that maintenance is being performed inline with maintenance plans. Responsible for initiating changes in maintenance procedures to ensure more optimized, safer, and reliable operations. Strictly follow the Change Management procedure and perform the roles as assigned under the procedure. Prepare root-cause-analysis for any abnormal / tripping conditions and submit recommendations. Analyse the data from Condition Monitoring System and revise maintenance strategy, if required. Contribute to the preparation of the maintenance budget and submit recommendations with cost-benefit analysis. Prepare shift rotation for his team to ensure reliable availability of the team during any planned / unplanned maintenance activities. Ensure strict compliance with environmental & social management system and communication to HSE and Operation Management for any near-misses, incidents, accidents, and non-conformance reporting. Investigate and correct any maintenance non-conformances / deviations and implement corrective actions / preventive actions. Evaluate and communicate the performance of maintenance staff. Identify competency / skill-set gaps and develop individual development plan. Arrange and organize team’s classroom / on-job / refresher trainings. Always ensure the proper use of PPE and other safety equipment, as provided in safety manual. Ensure that PTW and LOTO procedure are implemented effectively. Coordinate and participate in the emergency mock drills. Coordinate activities with other departments and staff as needed. Perform other maintenance duties as assigned. Good knowledge of maintenance of Wind Turbines, HV / MV Substation equipment, Cabling Works as well as instrumentation and SCADA equipment. Basic understanding and concept of operational activities of windfarm. Awareness of Quality, Occupational Health & Safety and Environment Management system principles. Knowledge of managing HSE emergencies. Good decision making, analytical and technical skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills as well as a focus on efficiency and effectiveness. Good organization, prioritization, and time management skills to monitor and handle complex tasks in a dynamic environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Good understanding of CMMS (computerized maintenance management system). B.Sc. Degree in Electrical Engineering or Diploma with 10 years of technical and managerial experience in the same field. 5+ years’ experience in maintenance of utility-scale wind power plants with minimum size of 50 MW.

POSITION SUMMARY
Wind - Maintenance Engineer shall supervise and lead the maintenance team of 1.7 GW windfarm at Neom Green Hydrogen Plant. It shall manage the inspection, monitoring and repair of all assets to maintain safety, equipment integrity and reliability in accordance with NGHC maintenance strategy whilst ensuring uninterrupted plant operations and effective upkeep of assets. It shall proactively develop system and practices to encourage continuous workflow improvements and increase the asset productivity and efficiency.
NATURE & SCOPE
The main functions of this position are :
- Supervise maintenance staff and third-party maintenance contractors and report the performance in accordance with established Maintenance KPIs.
- Ensure that the execution of maintenance activities of Envision are being performed as planned under LTSA.
- Develop and review maintenance procedures, checklists and work instructions inline with O&M Manual and OEM Recommendations.
- Timely identify all requirements for windfarm maintenance.
- Develop and conduct training plans for maintenance staff.
- Participate in EPC contractor site installation, testing and commissioning activities from O&M perspective.
