DAR Engineering is hiring a highly experienced senior stormwater engineer to be based in our project Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The incumbent is responsible for overseeing the design review, coordination, and construction supervision of utilities, including potable water, storm water, sewage, irrigation, and treated water systems. Technical Experience and proven background in Utilities and Infrastructure projects within Saudi Arabia and / or the GCC region.

Job Purpose DAR Engineering is hiring a highly experienced senior stormwater engineer to be based in our project Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The incumbent is responsible for overseeing the design review, coordination, and construction supervision of utilities, including potable water, storm water, sewage, irrigation, and treated water systems. Technical Experience and proven background in Utilities and Infrastructure projects within Saudi Arabia and / or the GCC region.

General Responsibilities

Supervise and monitor the construction of utilities and infrastructure, ensuring compliance with approved designs, specifications, and local authority requirements

Review technical design and drawings, method statements, material submittals, and as-built drawings

Coordinate with design consultants, contractors, and relevant authorities to ensure timely approvals and resolution of design-related issues.

Inspect installation of utilities and infrastructure related to the assigned project

Verify quantities and approve contractor’s progress against actual claims

Identify and report any deviations from contract documents and propose appropriate corrective actions.

Review site development plans for drainage compliance and provide technical recommendations.

Coordinate with civil engineers, environmental specialists, GIS analysts, and construction teams.

Perform field inspections, site assessments, and assist with construction oversight.

Support flood risk assessment and mitigation planning.

Maintain project documentation and prepare technical reports and presentations.

Comply to related policy and procedures and work instructions.

Ensure compliance of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products / services.

Technical Experience

Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities

Proven background in Utilities and Infrastructure projects within Saudi Arabia and / or the GCC region. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment

Willingness to adapt to changing project requirements and deadlines.

Project Management Focus, experience in a PMC (Project Management Consultancy) role rather than purely contracting-based roles.

Specification Frameworks, awareness of the CSI Master Format for engineering specifications or experience working with a similar structured specification system.

Sustainability Knowledge, understanding of sustainability principles and their application in infrastructure and utility design.

Qualification Bachelor in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering or related filed from a reputable university
