Occupational Health and Safety Job Description : The Safety Officer is responsible for ensuring a safe, healthy, and hazard-free work environment by implementing, monitoring, and enforcing occupational health and safety policies and procedures, while ensuring full compliance with relevant local and international safety standards and regulations. Key Responsibilities : Implement approved safety plans and procedures at the worksite. Conduct regular inspections to identify potential hazards and provide recommendations. Monitor compliance with safety instructions and ensure the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Prepare reports on incidents, injuries, and safety violations, and submit them to management. Contribute to promoting a strong safety culture in the workplace. Qualifications : Bachelor's degree or diploma in Occupational Safety and Health. Professional certifications in safety such as NEBOSH, OSHA, or IOSH (preferred). Minimum of 3 years of experience in occupational health and safety. Excellent communication skills. Required Skills : Risk assessment and hazard analysis. Strong report writing and documentation skills. High organizational skills. Ability to work under pressure and in diverse environments.
