Regional Personnel Coordinator

Overview

GEOLOG is a world leader in oilfield services delivering solutions to Oil, Gas and Geothermal operators globally, with a workforce in excess of 1,700 and operations in 40+ countries. Geolog is looking to hire a Personnel Coordinator with proven experience in Middle East to support local operations.

Position

The Personnel Coordinator oversees the day-to-day coordination of the company’s field staff, ensuring that the right people are assigned to the appropriate locations in line with requests from operational bases and corporate directives. The role is also responsible for maintaining the company’s planning database and reports directly to the MEA Regional Manager.

Responsibilities

Include, but are not limited to :

• Ensuring all new employees complete the required training and integration into GEOLOG, including support in organizing external courses and medical check-ups.
• Organizing personnel work assignments and monitoring their exposure and utilization.
• Maintaining the personnel assignment database, including the Competency Database for field staff.
• Preparing travel documents as needed.
• Arranging training courses for personnel when requested.
• Traveling internationally on occasion, as required.
• Identifying and flagging high-potential employees within the field workforce when above-average capabilities or skills are observed.
