Job Overview
The Field Compliance Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring engineering and construction activities comply with applicable safety standards and regulations. The role involves reviewing and developing safety protocols, conducting audits, and supporting field operations to promote a culture of safety across all project stages.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide field support to engineering and construction teams to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Review and assess safety documentation and procedures to identify hazards and evaluate risks.
- Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and emergency response plans in alignment with regulatory standards.
- Conduct safety orientations, organize safety training workshops, and review training materials for effectiveness.
- Perform regular site inspections and audits to assess compliance with safety protocols, including equipment, machinery, and work environments.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and relevant authorities as needed for safety-related matters.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Safety Engineering or any related engineering discipline from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of five (5) years of engineering experience, preferably including at least two (2) years in safety compliance within project environments.
- Strong understanding of safety engineering principles related to design and construction.
- Familiarity with national and international HSE standards and compliance procedures.
- Experience in interpreting technical documents, safety schematics, and compliance reports.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in English.
