The purpuse of the Safety Officer is to ensure compliance with Daikin’s safety standards and Saudi regulatory requirements by supporting site operations, conducting inspections, and promoting a culture of safety across the organization.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead daily site inspections and ensure strict application of safety standards and procedures.

Identify hazards, assess risks, and take corrective actions to eliminate or minimize unsafe conditions.

Deliver safety inductions, toolbox talks, and briefings for employees and subcontractors.

Investigate incidents and near-misses, prepare professional reports, and track closure of corrective actions.

Monitor proper usage of PPE, compliance with permit-to-work system, and adherence to site safety rules.

Maintain HSE documentation, records, checklists, and logs in alignment with company policies.

Support emergency preparedness activities including drills, evacuation tests, and first-response readiness.

Coordinate closely with site leaders, engineers, and project teams to integrate HSE into daily operations and planning.

Qualifications & Experience :

NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) – Mandatory

4–5 years HSE experience within HVAC / MEP / Construction – Required

Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Safety, or relevant field – Preferred

Knowledge of Saudi labor law and local HSE regulations (MHRSD, SFDA, Civil Defense etc.)

Strong in safety documentation, inspections, and incident reporting workflow

Excellent communication, teamwork, and coordination skills

Ability to travel within KSA depending on project / site requirements
