TOMRA / OPTICAL SORTING MACHINE OPERATOR

ᴧ      Education : High school diploma or technical diploma in a relevant field.

ᴧ      Language : English and (Arabic or Urdu)

ᴧ      Experience : Minimum 5 years of experience operating roasting machines, preferably in the nuts or snacks industry , Strong understanding of nut behavior during roasting (time, temperature sensitivity).

ᴧ     Strong understanding of GMP, food safety, and hygiene standards.

ᴧ     Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with packaging / processing machinery.

Basic computer and data recording skills.

1. Compliance and Work Conduct

ᴧ     Operate oil roasters and set correct parameters (temperature, time, oil level) based on nut type and recipe.

ᴧ     Monitor the roasting process to achieve desired color, texture, and flavor for each batch.

ᴧ     Strictly follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) at all times.

ᴧ     Skim excess debris and maintain oil cleanliness throughout operation.

2. Machine Setup and Operation

ᴧ     Set and adjust roasting machine parameters (temperature, time, airflow) per nut variety and batch requirements.

ᴧ     Ensure machines are properly set up and functional at the start of each shift.

ᴧ     Continuously monitor machine performance and adjust as needed during production.
