Bechtel has been involved over the last 80 years in some of the world’s busiest and most complex airport projects, including Greenfield and Brownfield developments. In the GCC, we have held significant roles on King Khalid, King Fahad, Dubai, Hamad, and Muscat international airports.

Saudi Arabian Bechtel Company has been appointed to provide project management consultancy services (including technical, commercial, and construction management) for the development of a state of the art international airport in the city of Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. King Salman International Airport will have a capacity of up to 120 million travellers by 2030 and 185 million travellers by 2050, and the capacity to process up to 3.5 million tons of cargo by 2050. Bechtel will provide PMC services for three new terminals; Terminal 6 is a new build ‘low cost carrier’ – hyper efficient terminal with gross floor area of ≈450,000m2, capacity of 20mppa; Iconic Terminal is a new build ‘new concept’ terminal with gross floor area of ≈ 1M m2, capacity of 40 to 45 mppa, and Private Aviation Terminal and hangars for VIPs and business jet passengers.

Job Summary :

The Logistics Construction Manager Terminals is responsible for leading all logistics planning and execution across a major commercial airport construction site. This role ensures the safe, efficient, and coordinated movement of materials, equipment, workforce, and vehicles throughout the construction lifecycle. The successful candidate will play a critical role in enabling uninterrupted site operations, minimizing risk, and supporting overall program delivery through effective logistics control.

Major Responsibilities :

Lead and manage logistics operations including material deliveries, site access control, internal traffic management, laydown areas, storage zones, and waste handling

Coordinate with general contractors, subcontractors, construction managers, and suppliers to integrate logistics plans with construction schedules

Serve as the primary liaison for construction logistics with the client, airport authority, and key project stakeholders, ensuring alignment with broader program objectives
