Key Accountabilities
Create, develop, and exploit commercial opportunities to increase the company’s income through existing and potential new clients with whom he / she will target and develop business relationships.Identify and pursue new business opportunities in O&M and EPC projects for energy and utilities, including diesel power generation, solar PV, T&D, substations, and UGC.Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and key stakeholders across Saudi Arabia and the GCC energy market.Lead the preparation and submission of competitive proposals and tenders for O&M / EPC contracts.Prepare and submit comprehensive company pre-qualification documents to meet client and project requirements.Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, and contracts with clients and partners.Collaborate with engineering, finance, and operations teams to deliver client-centric solutions.Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.Provide insights and recommendations to optimize the company’s positioning in the energy and utilities market.Oversee contract execution, ensuring adherence to financial, operational, and legal requirements.Manage and mitigate risks during project lifecycle to maximize profitability and client satisfaction.Track and report sales performance, forecasts, and KPIs to senior management.Identify new market opportunities, taking the lead on constructing a robust and successful business proposal that secures new deals, contracts, and long-term relationships.Obtain support from senior business development management to finalize recommendations and negotiations strategy.Maintain a high level of confidentiality throughout : on current business activities, short-long term plans, proposals under scrutiny and any other activity related to the business.Ensure areas of responsibility are delivered in a way that is consistent with the company’s goals and financial-cost improvement plans.Monitor industry legislative developments, develop and implement strategic changes in order to maintain compliance and maximize business performance.Train, mentor, and lead a team of sales and commercial professionals to achieve departmental goals.Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.Represent the organization at trade exhibitions, events, demonstrations.
