Manifest & Customs Coordinator - SDRS

Overview Job Purpose The Manifest Data Entry Controller is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely entry of cargo and container manifest data into customs and company systems. The role involves coordination with brokers, customs, and operations teams to maintain compliance, prevent delays, and ensure smooth cargo handling.

Responsibilities

Print and verify gate-passes and tally sheets for completed operations.

Re-check and validate data entered by customs brokers.

Issue and review gate-passes for empty containers, ensuring all processes are completed.

Process and update shipment entries under company contracts.

Coordinate with brokers for customs manifest printouts.

Coordinate with Operations Department on import, re-export cargo, and container movements.

Update manifests and transit details in customs systems (FASAH / MAWANI).

Maintain accurate data-entry control for containers and cargo.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Zero errors in shipment data entry.

Timely completion of all customs and manifest updates.

Effective coordination with brokers and operations teams.

Qualifications & Experience

Diploma / Certificate in Computer or related field.

Minimum

2 years’ experience

in container / cargo manifest or customs clearance.

Strong knowledge of customs procedures, manifest systems, and logistics documentation.

English reading and writing proficiency.

Skills

Strong computer literacy with Microsoft Office applications.

Experience With ERP Systems (preferred).

Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.

Good communication and coordination skills.
