Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced and results‑driven head of collections to lead our debt recovery and collection’s function. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in minimizing financial risk, improving cash flow, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Working in a dynamic fintech startup environment, the head of collections will develop and implement strategies, manage a team, and collaborate closely with internal departments to optimize recovery performance while maintaining a customer‑centric approach.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute collection strategies for early, mid, and late‑stage delinquent mortgage accounts.
• Monitor and manage daily operations of the collections team, including setting targets, coaching, and performance reviews.
• Analyze collection performance data and provide actionable insights to senior leadership and credit function.
• Ensure compliance with SAMA regulations and local financial laws regarding debt recovery and customer communication.
• Work closely with the credit, legal, product, and customer service teams to improve risk assessment and collection outcomes.
• Implement and leverage digital tools, automation, and AI‑driven solutions to enhance efficiency and recovery rates.
• Handle negotiations, settlements, and repayment plans with delinquent borrowers.
• Create and maintain documentation and reporting systems to track collections KPIs and operational metrics.
