Role purpose
The British Council is undertaking a strategic research initiative to explore the economic benefits of investing in English for governments around the world. As part of this work, we aim to gather insights from a diverse range of external stakeholders through surveys, structured interviews and focus groups.
Role context
The role requires coordinating, facilitating, and reporting on a series of focus groups with young adults (aged 18 to 23) in Saudi Arabia. In addition, the role will provide broader project support including the scheduling of interviews and focus groups with other stakeholders as part of the project. It will work with the Future of English global team to ensure that the process is inclusive, methodologically sound, and yields actionable insights to inform other parts of the project and British Council work in the area.

Facilitation, Interview conducting skills, Survey handling and translating from English to Arabic.

Experience of working with young adults in Saudi Arabia. Arabic written and verbal proficiency is also required.
