Role Overview
The Project Manager is responsible for supporting the Senior Project Manager and Senior Management in the overall direction and management of assigned project contracts. This includes building and maintaining professional relationships with internal stakeholders, clients, other consultants, and contractors, as well as managing the overall project coordination and delivery in line with planned timelines and budgets. Key accountabilities
Organize and supervise the work of the assigned team to ensure efficient activity execution in accordance with operating procedures and policies. Role And Responsibilities
Develop the Client Project Brief, work breakdown structure, packaging of delivery packages, and programming of works timeline. Assist the Procurement team in managing consultancy workstreams, including RFP preparation, tender evaluation, and contract management. Review strategies and project deliverables, resolving design and constructability issues in consultation with the Project Design and Project Execution Office. Work with the Senior Project Manager to develop project budgets, timelines, and plans. Monitor financial performance versus budgets and report variances promptly. Develop project delivery timelines for inclusion in contract documentation. Report on project progress, milestones, and conditions affecting costs or schedules, and develop recommendations to resolve issues. Assess Change Management issues as required. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and sustainability, considering global standards. Prepare reports and statements to meet department requirements, policies, and quality standards. Manage risk and develop mitigation schedules. Implement policies, systems, and procedures to ensure compliance and quality service delivery. Lead the preparation and implementation of Project Management Plans, Design Management Plans, and Project Quality Plans. Liaise with the Technical Services Department and shared services for project delivery support. Coordinate with various teams for business feasibility studies across financial, sales, and marketing operations. Coordinate with all NEOM sectors and departments to incorporate review comments and recommendations into project designs and strategies. Recommend sign-off to Senior Project Manager and Development Director. Work with stakeholders to ensure project alignment, communicate risks, and deploy responses. Ensure adoption of industry trends, innovative design concepts, and sustainable practices. Verify resource utilization for successful project delivery. Assist in bidding processes, vendor shortlisting, and technical evaluations. Conduct site surveys, manage design reports, and ensure coordination between disciplines. Manage contractual and commercial issues with contractors and consultants. We value collaboration and believe in in-person interactions. Skills
Proven ability to manage multiple project tasks simultaneously. Ability to build professional relationships and trust with colleagues and stakeholders. Interpersonal skills to build effective relationships at all organizational levels. Proficiency in specialist project management software and applications, including Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Projects, and Primavera P6 (desirable). Experience
15+ years of extensive experience in designing mega, multidisciplinary projects, with at least 5 years as Project Manager. Experience in KSA and / or GCC is preferred. Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Engineering; Master’s degree and postgraduate qualifications are beneficial. Professional registration with relevant institutes (e.g., MCARB, MRIAI, RIBA, PE, MICE, PMP, SCE). Sustainability certifications (LEED, PQP, or equivalent). Additional Information
