Project Manager – Networking & Technical Infrastructure
You will sit at the intersection ofengineering and delivery—owning the full project lifecycle for high-value networking and infrastructure engagements. From pre-sales scoping through go-live and account growth, you’ll translate customer needs into realistic project plans, marshal cross-functional teams, and ensure every milestone is hit on scope, on budget, and on time.
Responsibilities
Partner with account executives to qualify opportunities, run discovery workshops, estimate effort, and craft statements of work (SoWs) that balance technical feasibility with commercial goals. Build detailed schedules, resource plans, and risk registers for multi-site LAN / WAN, data-center, Wi-Fi, SD-WAN, cloud-networking, and security rollouts. Track progress with agile or waterfall methods as appropriate. Own project P&L, manage change requests, and forecast revenue recognition. Ensure procurement of Cisco, Huawei, Fortinet, and passive infrastructure aligns with cash-flow targets. Serve as the single point of contact for clients, vendors, distributors, and internal leadership. Provide weekly status reports, executive dashboards, and steering-committee updates. Coordinate solutions architects, field engineers, and third-party contractors. Mentor junior PMs and uphold PMO standards (templates, lessons learned, KPIs). Enforce QA processes, run acceptance testing, lead issue / defect triage, and implement mitigation plans for scope, schedule, or cost variances. Conduct project close-outs, secure client sign-off, and surface upsell or renewal opportunities to the sales team. Must Have
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or Business with a technical focus. 5+ years managing networking or infrastructure projects valued at ≥ USD 1 M. Solid understanding of routing, switching, firewalls, structured cabling, and data-center / cloud topologies. Proven track record overseeing simultaneous projects from proposal through handover. Strong commercial acumen : budgeting, margin protection, contract terms, and vendor management. Excellent English communication—able to craft executive-level decks and negotiate with CXO clients. Proficiency with project-management tools (MS Project, Primavera, or Jira) and collaboration suites (M365, Google Workspace). Nice to have
Vendor credentials (CCNP / CCDP, NSE 4–7, HCIP) or cloud networking certs (AWS Networking, Azure Network Engineer). Experience delivering projects in financial services, telco, or government sectors. Familiarity with SD-WAN, SASE, and automation frameworks (Ansible, Terraform). What's great in the job?
