Architectural Inspector

Join our dynamic team and play a key role in the successful delivery of a landmark project in Saudi Arabia. Responsibilities
Conduct thorough on-site inspections to verify that all architectural work, including building structures, finishes, and installations, are executed in strict accordance with the approved design specifications, building codes, and safety standards. Review shop drawings, material submittals, and other technical documentation to ensure they meet the project requirements and relevant regulations. Monitor the work of construction crews and subcontractors to identify any deficiencies or nonconformances and ensure timely corrective actions are taken. Coordinate with the design team, project managers, and other stakeholders to resolve any architectural issues or discrepancies that arise during construction. Maintain detailed inspection reports, photo documentation, and other records to track the progress and quality of the architectural work. Assist in the development and implementation of quality assurance and quality control (QA / QC) procedures for the architectural scope of the project. Collaborate with local authorities and regulatory bodies to ensure the project adheres to all applicable building codes, permits, and zoning requirements. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior inspectors and construction personnel to promote best practices and continuous improvement. Participate in project meetings, site visits, and other activities as required to support the overall success of the AlUla development. Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree in architecture. Valid Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) membership. Minimum 10 years of experience as an Architectural Inspector or Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA / QC) professional in the construction industry Thorough understanding of architectural design principles, building codes, and construction materials and methods Proficient in reading and interpreting architectural drawings, specifications, and other technical documents Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and attention to detail skills Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams Familiarity with quality management systems and procedures Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment and adapt to changing project requirements Fluency in English and Arabic (both verbal and written) Seniority level
