We are currently seeking an experienced Architectural Inspector to join our team in Riyadh . Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough on-site inspections to verify that all architectural work, including building structures, finishes, and installations, are executed in strict accordance with the approved design specifications, building codes, and safety standards.
- Review shop drawings, material submittals, and other technical documentation to ensure they meet the project requirements and relevant regulations.
- Monitor the work of construction crews and subcontractors to identify any deficiencies or nonconformances and ensure timely corrective actions are taken.
- Coordinate with the design team, project managers, and other stakeholders to resolve any architectural issues or discrepancies that arise during construction.
- Maintain detailed inspection reports, photo documentation, and other records to track the progress and quality of the architectural work.
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality assurance and quality control (QA / QC) procedures for the architectural scope of the project.
- Collaborate with local authorities and regulatory bodies to ensure the project adheres to all applicable building codes, permits, and zoning requirements.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior inspectors and construction personnel to promote best practices and continuous improvement.
- Participate in project meetings, site visits, and other activities as required to support the overall success of the AlUla development.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree in architecture.Valid Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) membership.Minimum 10 years of experience as an Architectural Inspector or Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA / QC) professional in the construction industryThorough understanding of architectural design principles, building codes, and construction materials and methodsProficient in reading and interpreting architectural drawings, specifications, and other technical documentsStrong problem-solving, decision-making, and attention to detail skillsExcellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teamsFamiliarity with quality management systems and proceduresAbility to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment and adapt to changing project requirementsFluency in English and Arabic (both verbal and written)Seniority level
