To secure sales of LV and MV switchgear solutions by handling the full sales cycle with contractors, consultants, and end-users. The Senior Sales Engineer will be responsible for managing quotations, follow-ups, negotiations, and closing purchase orders, ensuring revenue targets are met within deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage assigned accounts and projects from enquiry to PO award.
- Prepare, submit, and follow up quotations in coordination with the estimation / tendering team.
- Handle technical and commercial clarifications with clients until closure.
- Conduct regular follow-up meetings / calls.
- Negotiate terms and ensure deals are closed within target timelines.
- Maintain an updated project pipeline tracker.
- Provide weekly reports on offers, follow-ups, and expected closures.
- Support coordination with Siemens for technical compliance when needed.
- Ensure client satisfaction during the pre-order phase and smooth handover post-award.
- Support during Project Execution for communication with client and Siemens.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (mandatory).Minimum 7–10 years of sales experience in LV / MV switchgear within Saudi Arabia.Proven track record in handling contractors, consultants, and utilities.Strong knowledge of Siemens SIVACON / SIMOPRIME platforms (certifications preferred).Ability to work independently — self-driven, organized, and accountable.Excellent communication skills in Arabic & English.Strong technical understanding of switchgear solutions.Excellent negotiation and closing skills.Ability to manage multiple offers and clients at once.High level of professionalism and accountability.Ability to deliver results without constant supervision.Performance Measures (KPIs)
