This position reports to : Distribution Channel Manager .
ABB Smart Buildings enables optimization of energy efficiency, safety, security, and comfort for any building type, through new installations or retrofit solutions. The division offers integrated digital technologies to control HVAC, lighting, shutters, and security, in addition to energy distribution solutions including DIN rail products, enclosures, and emergency lighting through to industrial plugs and sockets and conventional wiring accessories, accommodating for single-family homes, multiple dwellings, commercial buildings, infrastructure and industrial applications. The division’s highly innovative technologies and digital solutions serve rising global demand among real estate developers, owners, and investors for smart building technologies that optimize energy distribution and building automation. The scalable solutions aim to deliver significant sustainable and financial benefits, meeting social and environmental demands, while being able to address even the most complex of customers’ carbon reduction strategies.
Responsibilities
- Implement ABB’s sales strategies across the distribution network to drive growth in wiring devices, meet divisional targets, and deliver on monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals within assigned territories or accounts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors and contractors to ensure alignment with ABB’s commercial goals and brand positioning, while supporting market expansion and penetration into untapped segments.
- Identify new business opportunities, expand market coverage, and collaborate with distributors to drive sales, while working closely with ABB’s marketing, technical support, and operations teams to ensure smooth execution of channel programs and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline visibility using the Salesforce tool, ensure timely reporting and data-driven decisions, and ensure all sales activities comply with ABB’s commercial policies, pricing structures, and ethical standards.
Qualifications
You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related field, with a demonstrated track record of exceeding sales targets and expanding / growing distributor networks. You have a proper understanding of driving growth through distribution channels, building pipeline with contractors, tracking leads, order follow-ups, and value-based selling.You bring 5 years of experience generating sales from residential, infrastructure, and hospitality sectors, with proven relationships and a customer database for wiring devices or finished products.You are passionate about customer focus and innovative around negotiation, strategic thinking, and cross-functional collaboration. Your ability to influence stakeholders and drive growth through indirect channels sets you apart.You are at ease communicating in English and Arabic, enabling you to build strong relationships across diverse markets and cultures. You hold a valid Saudi Arabian driver’s license and possess the necessary work authorization for Saudi Arabia.Benefits
