The center of alfanar’s industrial activities is alfanar Industrial Complex situated in the Third Industrial Zone on Al-Kharj Road, Riyadh.

Spread across 700,000 square meters, the Complex houses alfanar’s facilities.

The Complex has a comprehensive infrastructure including a data and communication center as well as a commercial zone.

Job Purpose

To lead technology scouting, research, and innovation initiatives for medium-voltage switchgear solutions, focusing on disruptive technologies, eco-friendly insulation systems, advanced switching devices, and digitalization. The role identifies emerging trends, builds external partnerships, and translates scientific advancements into practical solutions that shape the company’s technology roadmap and long-term strategy.

Key Accountability Areas

Continuously monitor global research, patents, and market innovations in MV switchgear, solid-state switching, advanced insulation systems, and digital solutions.

Lead investigations into advanced materials, eco-friendly insulation gases, smart sensors, and novel switchgear mechanisms.

Build strategic relationships with universities, research institutes, and global technology partners.

Provide scientific and technical leadership to R&D teams, mentoring engineers and fostering innovation culture.

Qualifications

Academic Qualification : Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or Any relevant field
