Senior Manager, IT Governance (831)

Job Purpose Responsible for establishing and maintaining IT governance frameworks, processes, and performance measures to ensure that IT services, projects, and investments are aligned with SOPC’s Digital Strategy, Operating Model, and regulatory obligations. The role ensures discipline, transparency, and continuous improvement across IT delivery while coordinating with Cyber & GRC on enterprise compliance and risk, with Corporate Excellence on policy custodianship, and with EBMO on overall dashboard integration. Governance Framework & Portfolio Oversight
Implement and manage ITIL / COBIT frameworks to ensure standardized and efficient IT service delivery across all functions. Apply Agile governance principles to enable iterative planning, rapid feedback loops, and adaptive decision-making across IT services and projects. Lead the IT portfolio governance process, managing demand intake, prioritization, and transparent reporting to enable informed decision-making. Monitor KPIs and SLAs regularly, ensuring vendors adhere to compliance standards and contractual obligations. Risk Compliance & Audit Coordination
Maintain and update the IT risk register, escalating high-priority or enterprise-level risks to Cybersecurity & GRC for appropriate action. Coordinate IT audit readiness by consolidating evidence and documentation, while recognizing audit ownership remains with Cybersecurity & GRC. Ensure compliance with IT-related policies and processes, including procurement lifecycle, vendor management, and asset management. Performance & Reporting
Develop and maintain governance dashboards, capturing KPIs and SLA performance trends for management visibility. Consolidate and publish monthly governance and performance reports for EBMO, enabling continuous oversight. Manage quarterly governance reviews to identify gaps, drive process improvements, and optimize IT service delivery. Stakeholder & Vendor Management
Acts as the governance focal point, serving as the liaison between IT, federations, and external vendors to ensure alignment and transparency. Support federations in adopting and embedding standardized IT services under the Federate Program. Engage with vendors to monitor compliance against service-level commitments, contractual requirements, and applicable regulations.
