To ensure the proper organization, control, and archiving of all documents related to construction projects (e.g. drawings, contracts, correspondence, and technical reports), following an approved system that supports workflow efficiency and compliance with project standards.
Responsibilities
Organize and archive paper and digital documents according to the approved filing system.
Manage the full document lifecycle (creation, review, approval, distribution, storage).
Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and consultants to ensure the availability of approved versions.
Upload and manage documents on project platforms such as Aconex, SharePoint, Procore, etc.
Assign and manage document numbers based on internal control systems.
Generate regular reports on document status and updates.
Ensure that the latest approved documents are available at work sites.
Maintain confidentiality and secure handling of sensitive documents.
Support audits and quality reviews when required.
Qualifications
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
2–5 years of experience in document control, preferably in the construction or engineering sector.
Proficient in Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS).
Excellent command of Microsoft Office (especially Word and Excel).
Good to excellent level of English proficiency (spoken and written).
