Head of Commercial
will be responsible for driving the company’s commercial growth strategy, leading all business development and client engagement activities from prospecting new clients to contract closure and long-term relationship management. This role will play a key part in shaping the commercial direction of the company, ensuring sustainable growth and profitability.
Reporting to the CEO of the company. Responsibilities
Develop and implement the overall commercial strategy aligned with company objectives. Lead business development efforts, from identifying prospects to closing deals and managing long-term client relationships. Expand the company’s client portfolio across various industries while ensuring high customer satisfaction. Manage all commercial contracts, pricing strategies, and proposals in alignment with market competitiveness and company profitability. Monitor performance of existing contracts and maximize value from current operations. Build and manage a high-performing commercial team, providing leadership, mentorship, and performance management. Collaborate with operations, finance, and HR teams to ensure service delivery excellence and client retention. Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive positioning. Represent the company at industry events, networking opportunities, and client meetings. Report regularly to top management on commercial performance, risks, and opportunities. Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (Master’s degree preferred). 10+ years of progressive commercial / business development experience, ideally in manpower, recruitment, outsourcing, or related service industries. Proven track record in winning, managing, and growing large-scale client contracts.
