Job Description
The MEP Engineer will be responsible for the design, coordination, and execution of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to ensure seamless integration within the facility. This role requires a strong understanding of engineering principles, project management, and coordination with multiple disciplines to achieve efficient and compliant project delivery.
Key Responsibilities :
Lead site execution of mechanical (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection) and electrical systems.
Review and approve MEP drawings, technical documents, and material submittals.
Coordinate with architects, civil engineers, and contractors to ensure smooth workflow.
Develop project scopes, schedules, and budgets for assigned elements.
Monitor progress to ensure adherence to time and cost targets.
Identify and document any changes in project scope.
Support procurement and subcontract processes, including bid evaluations and vendor coordination.
Collaborate with Project Engineers and technical teams across disciplines.
Assist the Project Manager in planning, supervision, and execution of technical and administrative tasks.
Estimate manpower requirements and technical resources for project completion.
Prepare technical reports, documentation, and updates for project management and clients.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems.
Resolve technical issues and site non-conformances.
Prepare progress reports and maintain updated as-built documentation.
Future Use : Applicable across construction, contracting, and industrial projects, especially in commercial and infrastructure developments.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or MEP Engineering.
5–8 years of experience in MEP design and site execution (preferably in industrial or commercial projects).
Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, fire systems, and electrical installations.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and project management tools.
Excellent coordination and problem-solving abilities.
Knowledge of safety codes, quality standards, and construction best practices.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadline
