MEP Procurement / Tender Engineer

The MEP Procurement / Tender Engineer plays a crucial role in the construction industry, focusing on the procurement of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems. Responsibilities : Manage the entire tendering process for MEP systems, including preparation, submission, and evaluation of bids. Collaborate with project managers and engineers to understand project requirements and specifications. Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and subcontractors for MEP systems. Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to ensure the best value for the company. Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation related to procurement activities. Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with contractual obligations. Assist in the development of project budgets and forecasts related to MEP procurement. Coordinate with the finance department to ensure timely payments to suppliers. Participate in project meetings to provide updates on procurement status and challenges.
