Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist @ NHC
Job Purpose : To lead and supervise all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) activities at project sites, ensuring proper planning, execution, quality control, and timely delivery. This role ensures all MEP works align with project specifications, safety standards, budget, and schedule, while also coordinating across internal teams and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities :
- MEP Planning & Execution : Review MEP designs and project specifications to define the scope of work. Lead the execution of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems according to approved designs. Oversee testing, commissioning, and final inspection of MEP systems to ensure safety and functionality. Ensure all installations comply with relevant codes, standards, and quality benchmarks.
- Technical Support & Problem Solving : Provide on-site technical support and resolve any engineering or construction issues. Coordinate with consultants and contractors to address discrepancies or technical challenges. Recommend design modifications or improvements where necessary.
- Project Coordination & Scheduling : Monitor day-to-day progress and align MEP activities with the master project schedule. Coordinate with civil, structural, and architectural teams to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems. Ensure timely availability of materials, manpower, and equipment. Supervise engineers, supervisors, and technicians in the MEP team. Allocate tasks, set performance goals, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide technical mentorship.
- Stakeholder Communication & Reporting : Maintain clear communication with internal departments and external contractors. Prepare progress reports and technical documentation for management and stakeholders. Participate in project meetings, inspections, and handovers.
Qualifications and Experience : Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent). 6 years of experience in the construction industry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory MEP role. Strong knowledge of MEP systems design, execution, testing, and commissioning. Understanding of project management methodologies, construction codes, and safety regulations.
Professional Experience & Skills : Technical expertise in MEP systems (mechanical, electrical, plumbing), site execution and coordination experience, team leadership and task delegation, problem-solving and decision-making abilities, project scheduling and progress tracking, fluent in reading technical drawings and BOQs, proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and project management tools
