QA / QC Director

Our client is a PIF project focusing on mixed-use and hospitality developments.

THE POSITION :

Lead and manage the quality assurance and quality control functions, ensuring compliance with international and local standards, project specifications, and regulatory requirements. Oversee inspections, testing, and quality control processes across all project phases to maintain construction excellence and mitigate risks.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

Quality Management and Compliance

Develop and implement QA / QC policies, procedures, and quality control plans in line with project and regulatory requirements.

Ensure compliance with local and international codes, standards, and best practices.

Conduct regular audits, inspections, and assessments to monitor quality performance and ensure corrective actions are taken.

Construction Oversight and Risk Management

Oversee quality control processes for materials, workmanship, and construction activities to prevent defects and rework.

Work closely with contractors, consultants, and project teams to identify and resolve quality issues.

Assess risks related to construction quality and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project integrity.

Continuous Improvement and Reporting

Monitor and evaluate quality performance metrics and provide reports to senior management.

Develop and implement training programs to enhance quality awareness across project teams.

Ensure all quality documentation, certifications, and records are maintained and updated as per project requirements.

REQUIREMENTS :

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or any other related field

Master’s degree in Engineering or any related field or MBA is preferred

18+ years of total experience.

3+ years of experience in a Director / Head of Department capacity

Experience in hospitality and mixed-use projects

Previous experience working on mega / giga projects

Safety and Quality Assurance Manager (Saudi National Only)
