Job Description
Plan daily inspection activities and surveillances.
Stop work if any activity shows serious breach of Health, Safety, or Environmental standards.
Conduct audits to verify adherence to plans & procedures; produce and maintain documentary evidence (Desirable, non-essential).
Coordinate with KAFD construction staff, plan inspections and testing activities in advance.
Maintain surveillance of Contractors QC Inspectors and collaborate with KAFD Inspectors.
Perform site visits for visual verification, provide feedback from progress meetings, and report concerns from workforce, Supervisors, and Management.
Ensure As-Built Quality Records are produced according to ITPs.
Supervise ITP content and ensure proper record compilation related to materials, standards, certifications, and traceability.
Take timely samples, handle, cure, store, and test them as applicable.
Verify the existence of authorized ITPs before and during work activities.
Ensure site QA / QC compliance via surveillance and QC Inspector reports, including visual, feedback, and written reports.
Act decisively to stop bad practices, waste, and non-value-adding activities, explaining their effects clearly.
Engage in supply chain QC compliance as required.
Attend FATS & SATS testing as needed based on materials, tests, or services under inspection.
Prepare weekly and additional reports, including detailed dashboards of QA / QC KPIs as requested.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering with experience in heavy infrastructure, electrical engineering, and rail & metro projects.
Experience in auditing, specifically as a Minimum Internal ISO 9001 Internal Auditor.
Knowledge of QA / QC principles, tools, and techniques; ideally a professional quality qualification or membership.
At least 8 years of experience in quality assurance and control on system engineering and rail projects.
Excellent English language skills (verbal, reading, writing).
