About the Role
- Proactively making suggestions to control and improve QMS activities for productivity, efficiency, cost, and reporting.
- Advising on matters of Quality, Assurance, and Quality Control to KAFD Staff.
- Reviewing procedures for compliance with project QMS requirements and current practice, recommending improvements as applicable.
- Maintaining and improving the quality management system to comply with ISO and other certification requirements.
- Reviewing project deliverables for compliance with quality procedures criteria.
- Conducting site visits to visually verify quality procedure adherence.
- Planning and implementing project audits in accordance with applicable project procedures and standards.
- Updating the project quality database for reporting on audits and outstanding audit findings.
- Managing close-out and reporting status of audit findings, non-conformance reports, and key performance indicator (KPI) targets.
- Identifying process improvements and preparing recommendations for project development and implementation.
- Feedback from progress meetings and individual reporting of concerns from general workforce, Supervisors, and Management.
- Producing and maintaining required Quality records by the Project.
- Preparing statistics dashboards of QA / QC key performance indicators for management review.
- Participating in reviews and workshops as required to promote the project quality.
- Offering guidance to the QC Inspectors regarding issues such as materials specifications, tolerances, standards, their certification to compliance, their traceability, and their use in the realization of the product.
What do we need from you
Bachelor's degree in construction, civil engineering, quality management, or related subject.Minimum of 12 years post-graduate experience.Experience in quality management roles on large-scale civil engineering projects.Familiarity with QMS standards and able to exercise judgment against the criteria of the standards.Ability to advise on matters of Quality, Assurance, and Quality Control.Knowledge of QA / QC principles, tools, and techniques.A demonstrable record of auditing quality processes.Experience in auditing.Excellent English language - verbal, reading, and writing skills.Middle East experience preferable.Rail, Metro, or related experience.#J-18808-Ljbffr
