Although our KSA office is located in Riyadh, we work on various projects across the country. Therefore, the ideal candidate for the QA / QC Engineer position should be flexible and adaptable. Role Summary Assist the QA / QC team in ensuring the quality of site installations, ensuring they comply with company policies, national and international standards, and client specifications. Duties and Responsibilities Develop and implement project-specific Quality Plans and Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) to guide quality control efforts across all fit-out activities. Schedule and coordinate site inspections to ensure work progresses according to quality standards, with timely issue resolution. Conduct detailed inspections of all materials, installations, and finishes (walls, ceilings, joinery, glass, and metal works) to verify they meet specifications, mock-ups, and samples. Lead final inspections for project handovers, ensuring all components meet high standards. Identify and document non-conformances, manage corrective actions, and perform root cause analysis to prevent recurrence. Oversee testing of materials and products, such as fire-rated doors and acoustics, to verify compliance with performance specifications. Monitor the quality performance of subcontractors and suppliers through audits and inspections. Collaborate with vendors to ensure materials meet quality standards and project specifications. Maintain accurate records of inspections, NCRs, corrective actions, and testing results for audits and reviews. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports highlighting achievements, concerns, and corrective actions. Serve as a point of contact for clients, consultants, and contractors on quality matters, addressing concerns promptly. Coordinate and facilitate inspections with clients and consultants to ensure contractual and quality compliance. Identify quality risks proactively and implement mitigation solutions. Ensure compliance with all quality and safety standards, codes, and regulations. Drive continuous improvement by analyzing quality metrics and updating processes. Provide training on quality standards, inspection procedures, and best practices to project teams. Personal Qualities We seek a versatile QA / QC Engineer with the following qualifications, skills, and attributes : Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field. 5-7 years of QA / QC experience in interior fit-out, with proven inspection, auditing, and compliance skills. Relevant certifications (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma) are preferred. Fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus. Strong knowledge of fit-out materials, finishes, and quality standards. Proficiency in quality management software and Microsoft Office. Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills. Familiarity with local and international codes and standards.
