Veterinary QC Specialist – Broiler Operations To ensure optimal poultry health, biosecurity, and productivity within broiler farms by implementing effective veterinary practices, disease control measures, and operational efficiency programs in compliance with company standards and government regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the

health and welfare

of broiler flocks, ensuring high production standards and minimal mortality.

Conduct

post‑mortem examinations , diagnose diseases, and recommend appropriate treatments and preventive measures.

Implement and monitor

biosecurity, vaccination, and disinfection protocols

to prevent disease outbreaks.

Manage

ventilation programs , temperature, humidity, and overall environmental control in closed system houses.

Conduct and interpret

serological and biological laboratory tests ; prepare detailed veterinary reports.

Develop

cost‑saving strategies

related to medicines, feed, and operational efficiency while maintaining flock health.

Supervise and support farm staff in

daily operations, SOP compliance, HACCP, and ISO 22000 standards .

Coordinate with management on performance indicators such as

FCR (Feed Conversion Ratio)

and

EPFI (Economic Performance Farm Index) .

Evaluate carcasses to reduce downgrades and improve overall slaughterhouse results.

Prepare and submit regular

health and performance reports

to management.

Ensure full compliance with

Saudi Ministry of Agriculture

regulations and company policies.

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Veterinary Medicine (B.Sc. Veterinary Medicine)

from a recognized university (5‑year program).

Eligible or ready to obtain a

Saudi veterinary license

from the Ministry of Agriculture.

Minimum

5 years’ experience

in broiler farm operations (closed system preferred).

Strong knowledge of

disease prevention, ventilation management, and vaccination programs .

Good command of

English

(written and spoken); proficiency in

computer applications .

Willingness to work and reside on the farm premises.

Demonstrated

teamwork, discipline, and adaptability

to varying working conditions.
