To support business decision-making by delivering actionable market insights through in-depth research and analysis focused on the poultry industry. The role involves identifying market trends, customer behaviors, competitor strategies, and growth opportunities to help the company maintain a competitive edge in the Saudi market.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative market research focused on poultry products (broilers, eggs, processed items).
- Monitor market trends, consumer preferences, and industry developments within Saudi Arabia and the GCC.
- Track and analyze competitor activity, pricing strategies, and distribution models.
Consumer Insights
Design and manage customer surveys, focus groups, and interviews to gather feedback on products, branding, and customer satisfaction.Segment customers based on demographics, purchase behavior, and preferences to support targeted marketing.Reporting & Communication
Develop dashboards, reports, and presentations summarizing insights for senior management and cross-functional teams.Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for product development, sales, and marketing teams.Work closely with sales, marketing, operations, and product development teams to align strategies with market needs.Liaise with external research agencies and consultants when needed.Strategic Input
Contribute to the formulation of strategic plans by providing forecasts, identifying risks, and uncovering market opportunities.Evaluate the performance of new product launches or marketing campaigns using market data.Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, Economics, Agriculture, or related field.Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.3–5 years of experience in market research, preferably in FMCG, agriculture, or poultry.Familiarity with the Saudi market and consumer behavior in the food industry.Proficiency in research tools (e.g., SPSS, Tableau, Power BI, Excel) and survey platforms (e.g., Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey).Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic (spoken and written).Strategic thinking and data-driven decision-makingMarket and consumer insight generationProject and stakeholder managementBusiness acumen, particularly in agribusiness or food sectorsCultural understanding of the Saudi and wider GCC marketsPreferred Experience
