AWS Presales Engineer

Job Description

Role Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Presales Engineer to support our sales team by providing technical expertise and guidance throughout the pre-sales process. The ideal candidate will be passionate about cloud technologies, able to translate complex technical solutions into business value, and capable of delivering compelling presentations and demonstrations to clients.

Key Responsibilities :

Partner with sales teams to understand customer requirements and design AWS-based solutions that meet business needs.

Deliver technical presentations, proof-of-concepts (POCs), and demos to showcase AWS solutions.

Assist in responding to RFPs, RFIs, and other pre-sales activities.

Provide subject-matter expertise on AWS services, architectures, and best practices.

Support solution design and ensure alignment with AWS Well-Architected Framework.

Collaborate with internal technical teams to ensure successful deployment plans and seamless handover to delivery teams.

Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services, trends, and industry developments.

Requirements

Qualifications & Skills :

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.

Proven experience in a presales or solutions engineering role with a focus on cloud technologies.

Strong expertise in AWS services including EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, VPC, CloudFormation, and security best practices.

Experience with solution architecture, migration strategies, and cloud deployment models .

Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to translate technical concepts to business stakeholders.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a client-facing environment.

AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect – Associate or Professional ) are highly desirable.
