The Digital Advertising Specialist is responsible for creating, managing, and optimizing paid advertising campaigns across multiple digital channels to drive traffic, leads, and conversions. This role requires strong analytical skills, deep platform expertise, and the ability to translate marketing objectives into high-performing digital ad strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign Strategy & Execution : Develop and implement digital advertising strategies across Google Ads, Meta (Facebook / Instagram), LinkedIn, YouTube, and other platforms.
Plan campaign budgets, bidding strategies, and targeting to meet ROI and CPA goals.
Write compelling ad copy and collaborate with designers on creative assets.
Execute A / B testing to identify top-performing creatives, audiences, and formats.
Optimization & Performance Management : Continuously monitor and optimize ad campaigns to improve KPIs such as CTR, conversion rate, and ROAS (Return on Ad Spend). Adjust bids, budgets, and targeting based on real-time performance data. Use remarketing and lookalike audiences to improve conversion rates and customer retention.
Data Analysis & Reporting : Track and analyze campaign metrics using platforms like Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, and other data tools. Prepare weekly and monthly reports summarizing performance, insights, and optimization recommendations. Present findings and strategic recommendations to internal teams or clients.
Collaboration & Coordination : Work closely with the marketing, content, and design teams to ensure ad creative aligns with brand voice and campaign goals. Coordinate with external agencies or vendors if applicable. Stay informed on advertising trends, algorithm updates, and new ad formats to ensure best practices.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
3+ years of experience managing digital advertising campaigns (agency or in-house).
Proven track record in managing paid search (PPC), paid social, and display advertising.
Strong proficiency with Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, and LinkedIn Campaign Manager.
Working knowledge of Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, and conversion tracking.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience with programmatic advertising platforms (DV360, The Trade Desk, etc.).
Familiarity with e-commerce and performance marketing metrics.
Google Ads or Meta Blueprint certifications.
Experience using tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, or SpyFu for competitor analysis.
Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, or landing page builders (Unbounce, Instapage).
