Overview

Country Manager, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) – Lead Skyports expansion within the Kingdom. The role involves market entry strategy, building partnerships with private and public stakeholders, managing existing projects, and developing a pipeline of vertiport opportunities. Based in KSA (preferably Riyadh), with travel within the region and to Dubai (regional HQ) and London (global HQ).

About Us

Skyports, founded in 2018, is at the forefront of the Advanced Air Mobility revolution, developing and operating infrastructure for electric air taxis and leveraging drone technology to transform business operations across industries. Our two key areas are :

Skyports Drone Services : drones to streamline logistics, capture data, and enhance operational efficiency (rural deliveries, surveying, surveillance, maritime services).
Skyports Infrastructure : designing, building, owning, and operating vertiports for eVTOL operators in cities worldwide.

We operate in a dynamic, high-growth industry reshaping the future of air mobility.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute the infrastructure and vertiport rollout strategy in KSA.

Establish strong partnerships with private sector partners and key government entities.

Identify and secure sites using existing landlord contacts and establish new ones.

Build a pipeline of revenue-generating projects, leveraging reference projects in KSA.

Contribute to and manage vertiport development projects.

Work with aviation and regulatory authorities (e.g., GACA) to secure permissions and consents.

Liaise with eVTOL OEMs and operators to launch AAM services across KSA.

Manage and grow the Skyports team in KSA.

Represent Skyports at meetings and events, including delivering presentations.

Report to the General Manager (Middle East) based in Dubai and collaborate with international teams in London.

About You / Qualifications

Strong background in aviation, real estate, and / or infrastructure business development and project management with the ability to maintain an overarching strategic view.

Proven ability to plan, lead, and manage complex projects across multiple functions with tight deadlines.

Ability to identify growth opportunities, build strategic relationships, and drive revenue through new markets, partnerships, or clients.

Motivated, proactive, self-starter and team player with resilience and problem-solving skills.

Comfort navigating ambiguity as this is a new industry with evolving answers.

Ability to travel.

Excellent written and oral English communication skills for project execution and stakeholder engagement.
