Responsibilities
- Support the Department Head in the development of the department strategy.
- Develop the annual budget for the team along with the Department Head; obtain approvals and ensure adherence to approved budgets.
- Define the operating framework for the division, provide leadership, and facilitate work processes to achieve high performance standards.
- Provide strategic direction and oversight to the Business Development and Partnerships team.
- Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve revenue growth and diversification.
- Identify and prioritize new business opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations to drive revenue growth.
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration with internal stakeholders, including sales, marketing, and operations teams.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of business development initiatives.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to inform business development strategies.
- Support the Head – Commercial by representing the company at industry associations and tourism events to identify growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with the Head – Commercial on the partnership strategy.
- Identify and qualify potential partners based on strategic fit, market reputation, and financial stability.
- Manage and maintain relationships with existing partners, ensuring collaboration and adherence to partnership agreements.
- Develop and execute partnership proposals, agreements, and MoUs.
- Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities with existing partners.
- Negotiate partnership terms to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Oversee partner satisfaction surveys and performance scorecards to assess relationship “health.”
- Collaborate with BD & Partnerships Specialists to pursue new business opportunities and meet revenue targets.
- Implement pricing strategies that optimize revenue, profitability, and market competitiveness.
- Oversee data analysis and interpretation to gain insights into market trends, customer behavior, and business performance.
- Based on analysis, develop and present recommendations to the Head – Commercial on revenue-driving pricing strategies.
- Conduct market research to remain current with industry trends and competitor activity.
- Collaborate with the Pricing & Analytics team to develop pricing strategies aligned with business objectives.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration , Marketing , or Finance from a recognized and accredited university is required .Master’s degree in any of the above fields is preferred .Seniority level
