We are seeking a motivated and results-driven mid-level Event Business Development Executive to join our team and drive our business growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development and a deep understanding of the events industry. Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across various event segments, including corporate, conference, social, and festival events.
- Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline through strategic networking, targeted outreach, and client referrals.
- Create and deliver compelling proposals and presentations to prospective clients.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing to ensure profitability and long-term client relationships.
- Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Client Relationship Management
Build and nurture long-term relationships with a diverse range of clients, including corporate partners, industry associations, and event organizers.Serve as the primary point of contact for all business development inquiries, ensuring a professional and timely response.Collaborate effectively with internal teams to ensure a seamless transition from sales to project execution.Maintain accurate and detailed records of all sales activities and client interactions in our CRM system.Market Analysis & Strategy
Stay informed about the latest industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics.Identify and explore emerging market opportunities, with a focus on virtual and hybrid events.Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with key vendors, venues, and industry stakeholders.Represent Knowledge Corporation at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to enhance our brand presence.Required Qualifications
3-5 years of proven experience in business development or sales, within the events, hospitality, or a related industry.A strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.A comprehensive understanding of various event types, including corporate events, conferences, trade shows, social celebrations, festivals, and virtual / hybrid formats.Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.Proficiency in CRM software and the Microsoft Office Suite.Willingness and ability to travel as required throughout Saudi Arabia and potentially internationally.Fluency in both Arabic and English (written and spoken).Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in the Saudi Arabian events market.An existing network of corporate contacts and event industry professionals.Knowledge of event technology platforms and virtual event solutions.Professional certifications in sales, marketing, or event management.What We Offer
