Associate Director at MRG Global | Global Recruitment Consultant | Uniting Top Talent with Unparalleled Opportunities One of our leading Tier One main contractor clients in Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced Section Manager to join the leadership team on a landmark infrastructure development aligned with Vision 2030. This is a high-profile opportunity to oversee critical project packages and play a pivotal role in delivering world-class infrastructure, ensuring work is executed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. Responsibilities
Lead and manage a designated project section (e.g. highways, bridges, utilities, structures) from planning through execution and close-out. Coordinate with project directors, consultants, and client representatives to align scope, schedule, and cost. Manage multidisciplinary teams of engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and site operatives, providing mentorship and guidance. Oversee technical deliverables, including review of shop drawings, method statements, and compliance with QA / QC standards. Support commercial activities, including contract administration, variation orders, claims management, and budget control. Drive safety, HSE compliance, and sustainability initiatives across all operations. Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline; Chartered / Professional Engineer status preferred. Minimum 20 years’ experience in infrastructure delivery, including 5+ years in section or package management. Proven experience with Tier One contractors on major infrastructure projects in highways, rail, bridges, utilities, or large-scale civil works. Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills. Knowledge of GCC construction markets, with Saudi Arabia experience highly advantageous. Why This Role
