Objective of Position
The role drives growth of Aquapharm’s footprint across Middle East, North Africa markets in the desalination chemicals market.
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
- Lead and grow company’s footprint across Middle Eastern, North Africa markets in the desalination chemicals market.
- Develop and execute country-specific and account specific sales strategies to win volume of Thermal and RO Plants.
- Identify and build partnerships with public and private procurement agencies, public utilities, and engineering consultants.
- Evaluate, appoint, and support distributors to ensure comprehensive market coverage and superior customer service.
- Provide technical support to customers and partners by delivering datasheets, application insights, and product samples.
- Collaborate with R&D and Product Development teams to align offerings with market-specific needs and performance criteria.
- Continuously monitor regional regulatory changes and tender opportunities to proactively shape bid strategies.
- Deliver accurate sales forecasts and contribute to regional budgeting and planning exercises.
- Represent Aquapharm in regional trade shows, desalination conferences, and industry forums to build visibility and credibility.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline; MBA is a strong advantage.7+ years of B2B sales experience in water treatment chemicals or specialty chemicals, preferably with direct exposure to desalination or industrial water management sectors.Proven track record of working with government entities and navigating public procurement frameworks in the Middle East.Fluent in Arabic and English language proficiency is required.Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and technical understanding of water chemistry and membrane treatment processes.Experience in managing cross-cultural distributor networks and working independently in a regional setup.Willingness to travel extensively across Africa required is preferential.MUST HAVES
