We are seeking an Occupational Health and Safety Officer to join Arrow Food Group. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining health and safety standards in compliance with relevant regulations and company policies. Travel is required.

Company : Arrow Food Group — FMCG food distribution company; adheres to ISO14000, ISO45001, NEBOSH, and OSHA guidelines to maintain a safe and healthy working environment for all employees.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections to identify potential hazards and risks in the workplace.
• Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures based on ISO45001 & ISO14000 standards.
• Provide training to employees on safety protocols, emergency procedures, and the proper use of safety equipment in compliance with NEBOSH requirements.
• Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions in line with OSHA regulations.
• Monitor and evaluate workplace conditions to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with management to address health and safety concerns and develop strategies for improvement.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations.
• Conduct safety audits and risk assessments to prevent workplace injuries and illnesses.
