Overview

Trade Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing trade marketing strategies that drive brand visibility, increase market share, and achieve sales targets across various retail channels.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Planning : Develop and implement trade marketing plans aligned with overall brand and sales objectives. Identify growth opportunities within the market and propose actionable strategies.
• Promotional Activities : Plan and execute in-store promotions, product launches, and merchandising initiatives. Coordinate with the sales team to ensure effective rollout of promotional campaigns.
• Retailer Relations : Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail partners and distributors. Negotiate trade terms, promotional support, and shelf space agreements.
• Market Analysis : Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behaviours. Analyze sales data to assess the effectiveness of trade activities and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Budget Management : Manage trade marketing budgets and ensure optimal allocation of resources. Track expenditures and provide regular financial reports to senior management.
• Cross-functional Collaboration : Work closely with the marketing team to align brand messaging and promotional materials. Collaborate with the product development team to provide market feedback and insights.
• Reporting and Analytics : Prepare regular reports on trade marketing activities and their impact on sales performance. Utilize data analytics tools to measure ROI and KPIs.
