Job Description
Job Title : Head of Marketing.
As the first hire in a new marketing department, the Head of Marketing will lead the role in a new fast-paced marketplace company through its Platform. He will be foundational in building the department from the ground up. The role requires a strategic thinker and a hands-on executor with a deep understanding of digital marketing, customer behavior, and marketing-tech integration. This leader will drive go-to-market planning, lead campaign execution, manage the external marketing agency, and ensure all efforts align with business growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy (short, mid, and long term) focused on brand awareness, customer acquisition, and retention.
- Lead the creation of a Go-to-Market (GTM) plan, including audience segmentation, messaging, channel selection, and positioning.
- Supervise and collaborate with the marketing agency to ensure timelines, creative quality, and performance KPIs are met.
- Oversee marketing content production, including written copy, visuals, videos, and ad creatives.
- Manage and optimize paid digital advertising campaigns (Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, etc.).
- Strategize and execute influencer marketing campaigns that align with the brand and budget.
- Ensure proper integration between marketing tools and the company’s platform (CRM, analytics, email, Meta Pixel, Conversion APIs, etc.).
- Design and manage segmented email marketing campaigns and customer engagement flows.
- Build and update Customer Personas and map out detailed Customer Journeys to improve engagement and conversion.
- Propose and implement content marketing strategies (e.g., SEO, blogging) as needed.
- Analyze campaign performance and produce periodic reports to assess ROI and effectiveness.
- Continuously evaluate and manage the marketing agency’s deliverables and relationship.
- Identify and plan for growth opportunities across new geographies, customer types, or partnerships.
- Recommend and utilize marketing technology (MarTech) tools to enhance productivity and performance.
Qualifications & Experience :
Minimum of 5 years of experience in digital marketing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.Proven track record in managing paid media and meeting acquisition / retention KPIs.Advanced knowledge of tools such as Google Ads, Meta Ads, GA4, CRM platforms, and Looker Studio.Strong experience of working with and managing marketing agencies or third-party vendors.Excellent copywriting and content development oversight skills.Previous experience in launching or growing digital platforms or mobile apps.Hands-on knowledge of influencer marketing in the GCC market.Experience in email marketing with intelligent segmentation and campaign automation.Solid understanding of the Saudi market and the beauty, photography, or lifestyle service sectors.Bilingual proficiency in Arabic and English (spoken and written).Key Personal Traits :
